Yes. Paste the job description and enter the correct target role. The scan compares your documented experience with the requirements and proposes truthful improvements without inventing qualifications.
Most scans take around 1 to 3 minutes, depending on system load and the amount of CV and job-description text. The results page updates while processing.
You can view the completed report on the results page, receive a copy at the email address entered in the form, and reopen previous scans from Career Scan History in your account.
An account is required to generate reports and manage saved CVs. Login and registration open in a popup so you can stay on the same page. Your Saved CV Library can hold multiple editable versions.

Yes. Choose a PDF (.pdf), Word .doc, or Word .docx file up to 5 MB on Career Scan or in your Saved CV Library. You can still paste text or reuse a saved CV.
Yes. Extracted text appears in the CV editor before you submit or save it. For recognizable two-column and mixed layouts, we try to keep each section together. Always check dates, job titles, education, contact details, languages, and reading order. Maximum: 20,000 characters.
The importer needs selectable, readable text. Image-only scans, encrypted files, and unsupported documents may be rejected. Convert the document to editable text yourself, or paste the CV text. An import failure does not create a report or consume a scan.
The browser extracts and cleans text without uploading the original PDF or Word file. Common formatting marks and document metadata are excluded where identifiable. Only text you review is used when you save a CV or submit a scan; temporary form drafts can remain in the browser tab.
No. They are different evidence-based estimates: ATS readiness focuses on CV structure and role evidence, while the recruiter matrix considers several hiring-review dimensions. Neither is a real employer ATS test or an interview guarantee.
A Cloudflare verification may appear before a Career Scan using free credits to reduce automated abuse. Complete the on-screen prompt. If verification fails, retry the challenge rather than repeatedly submitting the form.
